Senior Business Analyst with Service Design Expert – Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to integrate service design concepts into the business requirements phase of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and experience in service design, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define epics, user stories, and contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Tools like Jira and Confluence will be used throughout the process to ensure alignment and documentation.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Business Analysis Leadership:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage project documentation using Jira and Confluence to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Obtain customer signatures for requirement approval.

Service Design Implementation:

  • Apply service design principles to develop user-centric solutions.
  • Conduct user research and map customer journeys to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Create service blueprints to document current and future state processes.

Agile Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure effective communication.
  • Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Clarify requirements and address development team queries throughout the project lifecycle.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

  • Lead UAT by defining test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate execution of UAT with stakeholders and document outcomes.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives and user expectations.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Facilitate workshops to align user needs with business goals.
  • Present findings and project updates to executive stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior analysts in best practices for business analysis and service design.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Service Design, or a related field is a plus.
  • 5–7 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst with exposure to service design.
  • Proficiency in writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence for documentation and tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of UAT processes, including planning, execution, and issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (all business documentation will be in Arabic).
