We are currently seeking a senior electrical engineer to join our team. Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Reviewing electrical drawings, reports, specifications, and materials submitted by the contractor(s) at each stage of construction to ensure completeness, correctness, and compliance with the scope of work and agreement requirements.
  • Conducting constructability reviews during the design, construction, and modification stages.
  • Timely review of contractor(s) and sub-contractor(s) submittals and forwarding comments to the resident engineer/project manager.
  • Ensuring that the contractor(s) incorporates comments raised from previous stages.
  • Utilizing standard engineering techniques and procedures for evaluation, selection, and application.
  • Generating technical narratives, engineering analysis, and instructions.
  • Managing technical meetings with the contractor(s) and sub-contractor’s team(s).
  • Reviewing contractor/consultant/sub-consultants’ proposed organizational charts and related CVs, reporting findings to the resident engineer/project manager.
  • Coordinating with the project’s document controller to ensure proper control of all discipline-related documents.
  • Reviewing any alternatives to the design concept submitted by the contractor(s) and sub-contractor(s), preparing and submitting a report including recommendations to the resident engineer/project manager, highlighting advantages and disadvantages of each alternative.
  • Reviewing materials proposed by the contractor(s) and subcontractor(s) and proposing alternatives to improve quality, future maintenance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Reviewing various activities submitted by the contractor(s), including change requests, operational issues, procurement status, construction/engineering problems/issues, correspondence, claims, project variations, and actions taken to address concerns.


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience
  • Eligible for GCC engineering membership.
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge in International and Regional Codes & Standards.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
