Presales – Data AI and Customer Experience

The Presales consultant will be focused on identifying and generating new market opportunities in the Data Platform Modernization, BI/Analytics and the Artificial Intelligence services, to enable Digital Transformation and drive tangible business outcomes for our enterprise and public sector customers in the MENA region.

  1. Identify cloud market opportunities and trends in the MENA region, with specific focus on Data Platform Modernization, BI/Analytics and Artificial Intelligence opportunities.
  2. Present the Omnix value proposition, vision and technologies, strategy, and product roadmaps to partners and customer roles including executives, technical management, and technical engineers.
  3. Serve as a client-facing, pre-sales technologist who acts as a value-added technical and solution advocate for clients.
  4. Qualifying opportunities, and creating solution designs that match the requirements with appropriate products/platforms, managed and professional services
  5. Create and present demos that are aligned to customer needs
  6. Manage the planning and execution of customer Proof of Concepts as required
  7. Working closely with client engineering teams to implement solutions to cloud and data services requirements
  8. Maintain technical and business knowledge of cloud computing applications, industry direction, and trends
  9. Work with customers to obtain technical validation of proposed solution and build high-level architecture drawings.
  10. Assist with financial and infrastructure data collection and creation of customer ROI/TCO reports.
  11. Assist with preparation of proposals, statements of work, and supporting documents for customers.
  12. Identifies opportunities for new or follow-on business and assists in creating change orders
  • Pre-sales or customer-facing experience with strong relationship building skills. 
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options
  • Outstanding customer (C-level) relationship management experience and collaboration skills
  • Experience with design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services, specifically in the areas of cloud migration and application modernization
  • Deep knowledge of cloud services sales process and deployment models from Public Cloud vendors, specifically Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
  • Ability to develop and effectively communicate business cases and justifications to partners.

System Administrator

Maintain and administer Omnix servers and systems running on windows or Linux. The candidate will be responsible to install, configure, manage, upgrade, and troubleshoot Omnix IT hardware, software, and networking components, as well as ensure all computing operations are running with optimal performance, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure. Candidate will be required to follow service management best practices for planning and managing service capacity, availability, and operations.

  1. Monitor and ensure stability, security, availability, and scalability of installed Windows and Linux systems.
  2. Plan and execute systems and servers’ upgrades with IT manager and business owners.
  3. Plan and execute installation, upgrade, and patching activities for systems and servers ensuring coordination with solution owners, downtime approvals, coordinating backup and recovery activities to ensure business continuity during production major changes.
  4. Manage Active directory, Azure Active directory, and mail servers configuration.
  5. Follow business continuity plans to coordinate with backup and storage admin to plan and execute backup activities, golden copies, failover backups, DR setup.
  6. Participate, develop, and execute DR setup, failover plans, failover drills to ensure business continuity measures for critical business and technology servers
  7. Ensure timely patching, hardening, and product lifetime alerts for all servers to timely raise monthly upgrade or patching plans for servers environment.
  8. Maintaining server architecture security and review servers network deployment following multi-layer tier architecture as per best practices.
  9. Ensure strict control on users access, server access rights, VPN, and file sharing services inline with IT policies and procedures.
  10. Monitor daily performance of systems and servers, troubleshoot issues and escalate if required.
  11. Troubleshoot systems and server issues, raise tickets with operating systems and hardware technology providers, engage technology partners as per support contracts, and timely escalate.
  12. Follow incident response processes for reporting incidents, analyzing and documenting RCA for Major incidents, escalating it and reporting.
  13. Conduct periodical capacity reviews for servers and data center resources to identify upgrade needs.
  14. Develop annual upgrade plans including technology specs required as an input to Omnix IT annual budget.
  15. Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
  16. Coordinate with Omnix technology and service partners to work closely on troubleshooting systems issues, deployment of new solutions, conduct assessment, troubleshoot issues.
  17. Ensure security of IT datacenter assets in custody following security measures (physical and cyber) to avoid compromise of own access details or access cards.
  18. Timely respond and update service desk tickets to respond to issues raised by end users, service owners, or service desk engineers.
  19. Support and participate in Omnix projects within the scope of responsibilities.
  20. Perform any other duties related to the job as assigned by the Line Manager.
  21. Participate in documenting and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures across Omnix.
  22. Participate in documenting and enforce Information Security policies, and procedures across Omnix.
  23. Monitor and report on Omnix servers and systems SLAs / KPIs related to availability, incidents, incidents response, patching reviews, and timely resolution of support tickets

Minimum Education Required:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Information systems / Computer Science or its equivalent
  • Preferably Microsoft, ITIL, or Azure Certified (Certifications MCSA and MCSE)

Minimum Experience Required:  

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a related field

Senior Account Manager

Manage client accounts in the most efficient way to generate sales for the business. This involves researching business opportunities; setting up meetings; attending conferences, tradeshows, networking and corporate events. Build and maintain strong relationships with the clients, being available to handle concerns and building the clients’ trust in Omnix.

  1. Generate Sales to achieve maximum profitability against annual sales targets
  2. Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  3. Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.
  4. Established and maintain effective communication links with other company departments to identify all sales opportunities.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning.
  6. Shaping and developing significant investment initiatives, including business case development, detailed solution scope.
  • Digital Solutions Sales experience.
  • Proven network of executive level contacts within the UAE community.
  • Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • Strong Presentation Skills

Network Security Administrator

Responsible to install, administer, and troubleshoot Omnix security and network solutions. The Network Security Administrator will ensure Omnix network’s security, protect against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction, and troubleshoot any access problems.

  1. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  2. Implement Network and Security configurations as per approved design
  3. Responsible for documenting (LLD) network designs based on the HLD
  4. Hands-on experience on LAN/WAN, Wireless and Firewall technologies
  5. Implementing network security policies and procedures
  6. Administering and maintaining firewalls and firewall rules
  7. Managing, monitoring and updating malware prevention systems
  8. Monitoring security advisory groups to ensure all necessary network security updates, patches and
  9. Preventive measures are in place
  10. Preventing and detecting intrusion or suspicious traffic
  11. Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior.
  12. Performing intrusion detection analysis
  13. Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
  14. Consulting with staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice.
  15. Installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions.
  16. Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements.
  17. Good understanding of industry standards and best practices Proficient in the following:
    • Routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, and RIP
    • High availability network architecture and protocols [Multi-vendor]
    • WAN interfacing using MPLS
    • Firewall, IPS, UTM, IPSEC & SSL
  18. Expert level knowledge in network security, including troubleshooting and configuration of routers, firewalls and a wide range of security products
  19. In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and network technologies
  20. Strong knowledge of spanning tree, Trunking, and layer two switching concepts
  21. Working knowledge of next-generation firewalls / VPNs (Cisco, Palo Alto and Fortinet)
    Configuring and supporting security tools, such as firewalls and anti-virus software.
  22. Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource.
  23. Good communication, presentation, reporting, planning, interpersonal and documentation skills
  24. Training IT staff to understand and use security protocols.

Minimum Education Required:   

  • Preferably Cyber Security certified, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE in Routing/Switching, Security or Data Centre
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Information systems / Computer Science or its equivalent
