Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the senior management team to create comprehensive sales strategies, setting clear objectives and action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Attain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively communicate value propositions to potential customers.
  • Business Unit Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure individual and team success. Leverage your strong team management experience to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Utilize this information to refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts and periodic reports on sales activities, results, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Present these reports to the management team for review and decision-making.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Pricing and Negotiation: Collaborate with relevant teams to determine appropriate pricing strategies and terms for products. Lead negotiations with customers to secure profitable deals.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Continuously assess and enhance the sales process, streamlining activities to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Sales Training: Provide ongoing training to the sales team on product knowledge, selling techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Set ambitious sales targets and work diligently to achieve and exceed them, taking corrective actions when necessary.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Communication Engineering, Information Systems (or equivalent).

Minimum Experience Required:  

  • Should have minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the product sales domain.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation, and sales funnel management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other teams.

 

Accountability: To sell, maintain and improve relationships with Omnix Customers and vendors, thereby achieving assigned Sales Target. This role also must maintain necessary data and records on a regular basis.

Authority: To plan strategies for new customer acquisition and manage technical sales in coordination with partners and vendors.
