Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Arabic-speaking Senior Business Analyst
for a 1-year contractual engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of
5 years of experience in software and digital projects, strong analytical expertise,
and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions.
This role requires hands-on involvement in Agile software projects, creation of
User Stories and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and close
collaboration with stakeholders, acting in a capacity similar to a Product Owner.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Agile Delivery: Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Requirements Gathering: Engage with business stakeholders, clients, and end-users to gather, analyze, and document business, data, and integration requirements.
- User Stories & BRDs: Develop clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for development and integration teams.
- Product Ownership: Serve as a key business reference, prioritize requirements, and support decision-making on product features and functionalities.
- Integration Design: Define system integration touchpoints, data mappings, workflows, and dependencies across platforms.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data from Excel, SQL databases, and enterprise systems to support business and technical decisions.
- Documentation: Prepare functional specifications, process flows, data flow diagrams, and integration documentation.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and vendors to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Testing & UAT: Support test planning, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triaging, and solution validation.
- Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps, recommend best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, or Agile/Scrum certifications are an advantage.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software or digital projects.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system integration, and data-driven solutions.
- Ability to function as a Product Owner–like role, prioritizing and managing backlogs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, and enterprise data systems.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio.
- Experience with ETL tools or integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Informatica.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data migration.
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, or other enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a contractual delivery timeline.
Contract Details
This is a 1-year contractual position, subject to performance and project requirements.
Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.
