Omnix, a pioneer in end-to-end digital solutions and services, has taken the lead in emphasizing the significance of Building Information Modelling (BIM). This comes at a time when the Abu Dhabi Municipality is ready to mandate BIM across all infrastructure projects, regardless of size, stage, or discipline.
Omnix, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Municipality and Autodesk, has developed and delivered several online and in-person panel discussions and roundtables in recent months, providing Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) customers with deeper insights into making the smooth transition to BIM.
BIM is an intelligent 3D model-based process that provides architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals with the knowledge and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct and manage buildings and infrastructure.

Speaking on the education process, Simran Bagga, Head of Engineering, Omnix International, said, “We understand how important it is for us to educate customers on the upcoming BIM mandates. The events that Omnix has been conducting are not only facilitating this objective but are also playing a huge part in bringing together industry leaders and peers and enabling discussions around BIM software and how the city can benefit from it.”
Omnix has made significant inroads into educating customers by providing platforms for them to interact with industry leaders and understand the value of BIM.

Omnix has successfully organized five BIM education events in the UAE, three in Bahrain, and one in Oman. The events were a huge success, with a large number of people attending, including several government agencies.
